Happy Birthday to me

This has been a very good weekend. On Saturday, Sal and Sariah threw me a surprise party. Megan and Blaine and Samantha and Dustin and Gramma and Grampa and Cory were there, along with the Cassidy's and the Harris's and the Pincock's and Diane. Sister Alder and Amy even stopped by for a bit.
I had started suspecting something the night before, but it was still a surprise. Sal said he'd been planning it for weeks, but he thinks he didn't keep the secret very good. I think he did very well if my suspicions weren't raised until the night before.
We headed over to the Cassidy's under the guise of dropping the kids off. Will was in the yard playing with the kids and the fact that we both got out of the car to take the kids in and Sal asking Will where his wife was didn't set off any alarms in my head. Little did I know that everyone was just around the corner of the house waiting to surprise me.
As we rounded the corner, I spotted little Tanner and was bewildered because he looked familiar, but was it him or little Kole Kemple (from across the street)? Before I could work it out in my mind, SURPRISE!!!
Sariah was taking pictures and then she crowned me with a beautiful purple crown her and the girls had made. After the big moment, we headed over to the park where Ammon had the grill going and we had a barbecue.
I visited with everyone and got to hold Megan and Blaine new little one, Lacey. So cute and quite the wiggleworm.
I was very happy and very surprised. Thanks to everyone involved.

For Mother's Day, I have to brag about what I got: Sal got me the concert DVD of Josh Groban's Awake tour. That DVD was filmed entirely at the Salt Lake concert and we were there!! Great memories.

Today in Monday, my birthday. We plan on going out to dinner and invited Jo (my brother) and Melissa to come along. Last week was her birthday and this week is Jo's. I'm looking forward to it.
