I'm not old enough to have an 11 year old!

Lyndon turned 11 yesterday. We had a party. The first time we've done that for our kids. I just don't have the patience to have a bunch of rowdy kids over. But Sal took the night off and took charge which was cool because I hurt my back that day. It was kind of a low key, last minute affair, so the planning and RSVPing weren't the best. It got to a point that we thought no one would come, but they all did at the same time! Peter, Keegan, Kaulin (Lyndon's twin), Shay, Nick, and Michael all came. The kids had a blast. I think Sal did too. It was very nice to see that Lyndon has so many friends.
I mentioned Kaulin, Lyndon's twin. They are eerily similar. I first met Kaulin last year when I took Lyndon to his birthday party. His birthday is the day after Lyndon's. His mom pointed out how they were called twins at school. They have the same color hair, same color eyes, same big front teeth, same tall thin build, and last night I noticed that they both make sound effects for everything. I wonder how his mom deals with it, because it drives me nuts!
He had a good birthday. And just think, only 5 more years until he drives and dates.

Happy Birthday Lyndon. I am glad he had a fun party. Next year he will be passing the sacrament, that's crazy. I remember when he was a baby. How fast time goes!
