We had a good time at the zoo. Lena is not one for walking around much and started complaining that her legs were "bendy". We went with my mommies group (saltlakecitymommies.com), and someone made a place for Lena in their wagon. Lena says her favorite animal was the elephants. Just before the elephants, we saw the mountain lions. One of them seemed quite restless and when all the little kids came around, he stared them down and paced. We were quite thankful for the fence. At one point he came right up to me at the fence and I took a picture. He was still a couple of feet away.
I think she was glad when it was time to go home. But not before she had to play at the sphere water fountain. She got wet and it wasn't exactly warm outseide. Then we had to stop by the grocery store on the way home and the closest one to the zoo was one I had worked at before we had Lena. So Lena gave me dirty looks as I chatted with a former co-worker. It's been almost 6 years since I quit and for one, I'm surprised that there was anyone still there that I worked with and two, I'm surprised she remembered me.

Wow, I wanna go to the zoo. I just don't think I have the energy to walk around so much. Did you get to see the "Ghost of the Bayou?" He's not very impressive. Not one movement while people are walking through looking at him like he's a zoo animal.
Yeah, we saw him. Pertty much like you said, except his eye was watching all the little kids very carefully.
