Busy Busy Busy

March is looking to be a pretty busy month. We've got appointments and meetings, conferences and projects and school. I would guess that half of it revolves around Kaydee.

The poor girl has put me through the ringer this last month, and we are not done yet. She's had a cold for the last week, and it turned into pneumonia. She's on antibiotics now, and has been feeling well enough to be up to her shenanegans. I have a cold too, so it's not like I have all that energy for the disasters she causes. Last night she dumped a pitcher of fruit punch and scattered Rice-a-roni all over the stove and floor. Yeah, I think she feels better. She's still coughig, so I think it will be a while yet before she's completely well. Good thing she there aren't many places we have to go this week. Just parent-teacher conferences.

We are finally getting rid of the dial-up. The satellite internet is supposed to be installed on Tuesday. That is a huge blessing. THen the kids don't have school on Friday, with Lean also getting Thrusday off.

The second week in March, I am finally getting my eyes checked. They have really been bugging me lately, so I won't be surprised if I need glasses. I know I need new reading glasses. Kaydee also has a appointment to meet her preschool teachers and we will write up a plan for her. This makes me nervous. I've never had a child go to preschool before. But she really needs it. I would really like for her to be caught up by the time she starts kindergarten. A few days after that, she gets her tubes. I expect that will be quite an ordeal judging what I went through with her test a month ago. That's why I asked Sal to take the day off.

There are other doctor and a dentist appointment this month - Kaydee's first official dentist appointment. She has the cutest white little teeth. I'm curious as to what they will say about Lena's teeth too. She's lost two, and the new ones are coming in at a very crooked angle. I have Enrichment in the middle of the month - which I should go look through that clip art book the bishop dropped off because he is printing our invitations. Then I volunteered to be the member of the Relief Society presidency that helps the member of the bishopric in charge of the upcoming ward dinner. And as if I didn't take on enough, Sal came home from church and told me we are the new Cub leaders. Actually, he told me I have a new calling as Cub leader and he accepted it for me, and I was not happy. Most of all, I don't have the patience to teach a bunch of rowdy boys that won't listen to me. Then he told me that we were doing it as a couple, which I like much better. He has the patience, and does so well with the boys and their friends.

Spring Break is at the end of the month, and already I'm thinking it will be a good idea if I can get a night away from the kids. I'm going to start planning it now.

That does sound like a busy month! I know my son was sick with strep and scarlet fever. He had it twice in January. We had to go through two rounds of antibiotics. I was beginning to think it would never go a way. He missed two weeks of school. I was soooo glad when he was better and could go back to school. I hope everything goes well for you this month!

Geeze girlie? there are only 24 hours in a day you know. Totally know how you feel about the kids and the colds. we all have it all together at the same time right now. the nasty congested cough and runny noses and for mommy and daddy the lack of energy. but now you got me worried about pneumonia. little boy in our ward had it recently too, did kaydee have a fever?

Yeah, she had a fever. She came down with it the days before I took her in. With the way she was coughing, I was thinking she was having an asthma attack, so I was rather shocked when they said what it was.

I just noticed all the typos. I must have been really tired.
