I am going to say she is the youngest in her class, since she still is 2 until next week, but from what I saw, she is most likely the biggest in her class. I just have tall kids.
Here's a picture of her in her hospital gown before they took her away for the surgery
They wheeled her away in a wagon. I stood at the door and waved and blew kisses and she did the same, although she had a bit of a deer-in-the-headlights look. Then they took me to another room to wait. I brought a book, and had barely gotten through a chapter when the doctor was there telling me how well it went and that she had finally passed the hearing test. A few minutes later, a nurse came to take me to Kaydee and there she was wrapped in a blanket being cuddled by another nurse. She was barely awake when they put her in my arms, and she still wasn't sure where she was, but once she got some of her wits about her, she was not a happy camper. Some juice and taking the monitor off her finger remedied that. Soon we were able to go home. All in all, we were at the hospital for only 2 hours. That included all the paperwork at the beginning, all the questions and consulting with the all the nurses and doc because of her recent pneumonia, the prep, surgery, hearing test, recovery, and discharge. Because so many had to listen to her chest, the anesthesiologist decided not to sedate her with versed before putting her under. We were only 10 minutes away from the surgery and it would take 20 minutes to take effect (knowing my little fighter, it would have taken longer). She did so well, she wouldn't have needed it anyway. And all she had was anesthesia mixed with oxygen through a mask - no IV. She did great!

I am glad she is doing well. Now mommy gets some mommy time:)!!
I am so glad everything went so well. She is so cute. She has changed so much since the last time I saw her. I signed Tanner up for Preschool yesterday. He starts at the end of August. I can't believe how fast they grow up.
