It went very well and very quickly. Kaydee didn't need a sedative before anesthesia, or an IV for it. The doc said she probably won't even need the ear drops. She had very little fluid, but she passed the hearing test finally. We are already noticing a difference. Probably the biggest one is she is not screaming as loud. She's still a bit sensitive to sound. But all in all, she is doing great. We were in and out in 2 hours.
Then I bought her a little backpack for school today. It's Strawberry Shortcake. School starts today, but she won't go until Wednesday. My baby is growing up!

I am so glad it went well. My kids are getting their first cavities filled this week and I am stressing about that. I know silly, HUH!
I think I would be stressed about that. Needles in the mouth - not fun. Could scar them for life! I hope not.
I am so excited for you that she is not screaming as loud. it's great that her speech problem is only caused by an easily remedied ear hearing problem.....so far. hopefully she will adapt quickly to her new hearing ability. that is so great i am so happy for you guys. and i agree about the needles in the mouth thing. i would rather give birth than have dental work done!!! no joke!
