Happy Thanksgiving

What are you thankful for this year?

I am thiankful for family and friends. Without their love and help, I'd go crazy. Wait, I already am crazy and they still love me. They let me complain and vent and stand by me as I lose my mind. They must know that I'm not doing it on purpose.

I'm thankful for Sal's job. In a time where people are finding themselves out of work left and right, I'm glad he has a steady job with good benefits and we don't have to worry about it.

I'm thankful for the opportunity I have to go back to school. Hopefully it's setting a good example for the kids. Oh, it probably is, they are all doing so well in school themselves.

I'm thankful for a great landlord. He will come in to the office whenI can't be there and has been very accomodating with my schooling and all the schedule changes we've had the past few months. He lets the kids in when I am not home, and he lets me in when I lock myself out. I always feel like I'm taking advantage of him because he's always so willing to help.

I'm thankful for my ward family. I'm thankful for them sustaining me in my calling. I'm thankful for my calling, and the tremendous amount of humbling it's brought to me. There's certainly a lot I see that I can complain about, and I'm learning to bite my tongue more. It's also made me more appreciative of what I have and more aware of the little things to be appreciative about.

At the moment, I'm not feeling very thankful for my children. I am currently designing mute buttons for them. My kids were missing theirs at birth.
