Staying put

We decided that it wasn't time to go anywhere. Just a little disappointed, but a huge relief. For me, at least. But now that gives us more time to be prepared and to shop around. This had just kind of fallen in our laps. I think this was just the Lord's way of giving us a wakeup call. It's time for us to work harder if we don't want to stare at storage units for the rest of our lives. And work harder we will. But for now, I'm already busy. I taught RS yesterday and will be teaching Enrichment next week. The house needs more attention, naturally because the kids are home too much, and things just need to be fixed up and organized. Plus, it's just so dang hot. It's sucking the life force out of me some days.

And some really good news: I lost 10 lbs in the last month. Kaydee is finally starting to talk. She said Bamma and Bompa the other day (Gramma and Grampa). This morning, she was saying sister. Yay Kaydee! She's also recently had a growth spurt. You can tell just by looking at her. And she has certainly been crankier too.
